Global Citizen appoints lfeoma Chuks-Adizue as Managing Director, Africa

Recently, Global Citizen has made an announcement, revealing that lfeoma Chuks-Adizue has been appointed to take up the position of Managing Director, Africa which is a newly created role in the company.

Founded in 2012, Global Citizen is a leading international advocacy organisation that is ruling all across the world. Headquartered in New York, it is an NGO that specialises in digital campaigning, advocacy, social media amplification, music, poverty, social impact, influencer activation, and events.

After her appointment, lfeoma will be responsible for focusing on Move Afrika: A Global Citizen Experience. It is a long-term, large-scale effort which has been designed to pioneer an international music touring circuit which is a first-of-its-kind. It will drive economic investment, job creation and supporting entrepreneurship opportunities within Africa in each host country.

The President of Global Citizen, Liza Henshaw said, “Ifeoma’s extensive leadership experience, together with her passion for advocating for women and girls across Africa, perfectly aligns with Global Citizen’s mission. Her vast networks of relationships across various sectors will be instrumental in advancing our work across the African continent for years to come.”

For her new role, she will be serving as one of the inspirations for the African women who wants to explore the business sector.
