Grey Bruce is all set to celebrate International Women’s Day by highlighting stories of women in business, through its event ‘Count Her In’ at Chesley.
The event is slated to be held on March 7. It has been dubbed as ‘Business to Bruce and Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey, Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment’.
Not only will stories of inspirational women entrepreneurs be highlighted at the event, but attendees will also get to network and interact with Sarah Baldwin, who is a TED Talk speaker and globally renowned thought leader. Sarah will speak talk about how to leverage technology to amplify revenue for one’s small business.
Sarah is also a neuroscientist, technologist, corporate strategist, and entrepreneur. in the year 2023, she presented 24 keynotes and was also nominated for the DMZ 2024 Women of the Year Award.
A release from Business to Bruce regarding the Women’s Day event stated, “With women entrepreneurs raising the bar, building new bridges and leading Bruce County’s economy and prosperity we have lots of reasons to celebrate”.
The Women’s House will also celebrate women of distinction by recognising their work. Nominations for the same are currently being accepted.
