A new program entitled ‘Kosoy Women in Business’ has been announced by Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (MSB) in order to advance the discussions that are related to women in the workplace.
The program’s creation is funded by Brian Kosoy and Andrea Kosoy. For the upcoming semester, the program shall offer tailored programming in mentorship in addition to professional development for a pilot cohort of members.
Both of them said in a statement, “We think it is important that women have access to unique and targeted resources as they strive to reach their full potential and ultimately shape the organizations they are affiliated with and the business world as a whole.”
The opportunity to participate in the career-oriented workshops, speaker events and networking initiatives will be available to the upperclassmen’s inaugural group of all gender identities in order to comprehend about gender and women’s perspectives in business.
Assistant director for the Undergraduate McDonough Career Center, Ginny Randall wrote, “We’re excited to launch the Kosoy Women in Business program to help students gain tangible skills and build confidence in their leadership, so that they can navigate any space where there’s an imbalance in gender representation in the classroom, in the workplace, and beyond.”
