Hancock Whitney and Georges Media Group's 'She Is' campaign, launched in May 2023, has proven to be not only topical but also a celebration of women's achievements across the Gulf Coast area, in a cooperation that foresee the growing power of women.
Women have taken center stage in a variety of industries during the previous seven months. The ad has highlighted the different accomplishments of women, from worldwide entertainment giants like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé smashing records to local heroes like the LSU Women's Basketball team claiming the 2023 NCAA title. Hancock Whitney's Chief Marketing Officer, Laura Sullivan Ethridge, observes, "This past year has confirmed the important role that women play in all facets of our society."
'She Is' has highlighted women who are making a difference in finance, entrepreneurship, sports, healthcare, energy, and community service. The campaign features true tales of tenacity, perseverance, and accomplishment from newbies like Annabel Powers and Hannah Huppi to seasoned leaders like Gayle Benson and Tiffany Temple. The campaign also marks the 50th anniversary of women being able to open credit cards in their own names, a key milestone in women's financial emancipation.
Hancock Whitney remains dedicated to providing financial assistance and recognizing women in leadership roles as the campaign continues into 2024. The 'She Is' campaign provides a forum for women to share remarkable tales and be empowered to continue making good change in their communities and beyond.
