Happy Women Initiative Honours Philanthropists at Global Awards

The Happy Women Rural Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering selfless service to mankind, honoured philanthropic achievement during its 2nd Global Conference and Award Ceremony in Abuja. The event, titled "Celebrating Philanthropy," saw the creator, Barrister Ugonna Kalu, celebrate renowned persons for their remarkable efforts to positively influencing people's lives.

Barrister Ugonna Kalu gave plaques and awarded diplomas to the following individuals: Mr. Okedeyi Gafaru, Mrs. Amina Zayyana, Dr. Sylvester Ehimare, Hon. Onyekachi Kagha, Ms. Imade Bibowei-Osuobeni, Mrs. Tolulope Tunde-Ajiboye, Dr. Lola Ayo-Fashida, Mrs. Olubunmi Gbadewole, Maimuna Abdulmudallib, Ms. Evuarherhe Florence, Ms. Amarachi Kalu, Barr. Anisa Mohammed, Ms. Bosede Oyelakin, and Ms. Bello Dasloa.

Barrister Kalu stressed that the awards were given to recognize the selfless efforts made by these individuals and organizations, as well as to recognize them as beacons of hope and catalysts for good change. She thanked the honourees and everyone who helped make the conference a success, emphasizing the transformational effect of generosity beyond cash donations.

The conference also included educational sessions, such as one delivered by Mrs. Chika Chukwudi, Assistant Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), on "Effective Communication Skills for Women in Business." Mrs. Chukwudi underlined the importance of communication in unlocking business prospects and provided six communication concepts.

Dr. Christopher Obinna, an educator and administrator, is interested in using digital technology to boost economic growth. He offered seven tactics for developing into empowered technology leaders, emphasizing the need of integrating personal beliefs with organizational goals and encouraging transparent leadership.

A panel discussion with Aishat Bashir Tukur, Dr. Joy Audu, Mrs. Muomah Priscilla Ejura, and Mr. Timothy Solomon ended the seminar. Happy Women Rural Initiative's objective to empower and uplift women continues, contributing to community socioeconomic well-being.
