As a part of multiple leadership changes, Nike announced that Heidi O'Neill who is currently the president of Consumer & Marketplace, will become president of Consumer, Product & Brand of Nike, Inc. Apart from this Craig Williams, who is presently the president of Jordan Brand will take over as president of Geographies & Marketplace. Nike has decided to make a realignment of its senior leadership officials.
The duties served by Matthew Friend, EVP, and CFO, will now also cover Demand and Supply Management, Global Places & Services, and Procurement.
The brand’s strong momentum will be preserved by the leadership changes that occurred, according to Nike, which also highlighted the company's dedication to product innovation, serving athletes, and brand storytelling while promoting a wider business integration.
With the next growth phase of Nike, Heidi will look after its global product engine and be involved in the integration of its brand marketing storytelling to make strong partnerships and brand engagement. She will also receive reports from global brand marketing and global sports marketing.
Heidi has most recently looked after Nike's marketplace and the four geographical operating locations as president of Consumer & Marketplace. Heidi was also the president of Nike Direct, a retail and digital commerce company of Nike. In addition to this, Heidi also founded and looked after Nike Women's Company.
Heidi and Craig will take the company through its next stage of innovation and growth by helping the future generation of athletes. Heidi and Craig will be also assisted by the string bench of leadership across Nike.
