HerHeadquarters has released its much anticipated Woman-owned Business Certification in a revolutionary step to address the continuing problems and inequities experienced by disadvantaged women entrepreneurs in the United States. This effort was born out of the continued need to remove the barriers and red tape that have hampered disadvantaged women entrepreneurs obtaining certification through existing programmes.
HerHeadquarters, a supporter of women in business, has created a shortened certification procedure that is 68% shorter than existing choices and costs $300 less. This strategic strategy seeks to make the Woman-owned economic Certification available to millions of female entrepreneurs who have long felt marginalised and left behind in the economic world. In addition to the certification, HerHeadquarters provides a full package that includes access to their platform, which allows women to acquire paid projects, receive preference in corporate contracts, attend special seminars, apply for business awards, and much more. Furthermore, qualifying candidates can obtain free legal assistance from Husch Blackwell, HerHeadquarters' national law firm partner.
This accreditation is being launched at a critical juncture, when 89% of female entrepreneurs believe the odds are stacked against them and fewer than 1% of corporate expenditure supports women-owned enterprises. The creator of HerHeadquarters, Carina Glover, emphasised the importance of this effort, adding, "The greatest need of many small women-led businesses is funding." Grants and supplier contracts from businesses and the government are among the most lucrative options available, but many of them need a woman-owned company certification. If you lack the necessary means to become qualified, you will never be considered for these life-changing chances. This is about levelling the playing field for all female entrepreneurs, so that businesswomen who desire the chance may have it."
The application period for the Woman-owned Business Certification is officially open, and processing will begin on September 20. Businesses must have at least 51% ownership by a woman who is a US citizen or legal resident to be certified.
This statement comes on the heels of HerHeadquarters' one-month-old "SOS 15% Pledge," a daring quest to raise spending on women-owned companies by 15% over the next decade. The creation of a legitimate accreditation that is more accessible to women entrepreneurs with low resources is critical to accomplishing this objective. Glover continued, "A broken system can't fix itself; sometimes you need a new system, with new allies, and that's what we've created."
The Woman-owned Business Certification from HerHeadquarters is ready to change the landscape for female entrepreneurs, providing them with the support and chances they need in the competitive business world.
