Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Expands to Canada

The Hollywood Reporter has announced the extension of its renowned Women in Entertainment brand into Canada, introducing a new event called Women in Entertainment Canada. This first-of-its-kind conference will bring together the Canadian industries of television, cinema, and music, honouring and celebrating the accomplishments of women who are propelling the entertainment sector ahead in their respective disciplines.

The Hollywood Reporter, in collaboration with Access Canada, one of Canada's best industry event management firms, will present its inaugural Canadian Women of Power List in connection with the conference. The event is set to kick off on May 30, 2024, at the luxurious Park Hyatt Toronto.

The Hollywood Reporter's co-editor in chief, Nekesa Mumbi Moody, expressed excitement about expanding their Women in Entertainment franchise globally, saying, "Our partnership with Access Canada will celebrate the accomplishments of the women who set the entertainment agenda for Canada and beyond. We are thrilled with this fantastic first event and look forward to expanding on it for years to come."
