Humana appoints Michelle O'Hara as new CHRO; Effective from January 2025

In a recent announcement, Humana revealed that Michelle O’Hara has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer which will be effective from January 2025. In addition, Humana is a Health and wellbeing company.

Additionally, Michelle is armed with more than 20 years of experience in the HR leadership. After her appointment, she will head the enterprise talent strategy of the company while overseeing programs for over 63,000 employees all across the organisation.

The appointment of Michelle marks as a strategic focus, specifically on workforce transformation, fostering a diverse talent pipeline with an intent to assist the mission of Humana. Earlier she has held positions of HR in several Fortune 500 companies. After her joining as the CHRO, she will be reporting directly to the president and CEO of Humana, Jim Rechtin.
