Hyundai Motor Group Affiliates, Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation, jointly announced the extension of their storied affiliations on May 29 with FIFA through 2030.
Boston Dynamics and Supernal, two Group businesses, are now a part of the arrangement. The expanded ties will cover a variety of esteemed FIFA events, such as the eagerly awaited FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 and FIFA World Cup 2026, among others. Hyundai and Kia have supported FIFA for more than 20 years, with a recent focus on the expansion and improvement of the women's game.
FIFA and Hyundai Motor Group staged a signing ceremony on 30th May at their offices in Zurich, Switzerland, to mark the event. Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, and Karl Kim, president of Hyundai Motor Group, shook hands to formally cement the deal, signifying the parties' shared commitment to making football truly international.
“We are happy to keep up our enduring relationships with Hyundai and Kia. They have constantly shown their passion to helping FIFA over the years, and we respect their effort to boosting the overall atmosphere of our competitions”, said FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
"As we embark on this new chapter as a team, we are enthusiastic about the opportunities that the inclusion of Boston Dynamics and Supernal will provide. We'll keep working together to spread football's unifying power throughout the world.”

Hyundai and Kia will continue to play significant roles in ensuring the effective and seamless functioning of the transport systems at FIFA's international events and competitions as the organization's official mobility partners. The large global distribution networks of the manufacturers will enable them to deliver complete vehicle lineups that will meet all FIFA mobility needs, allowing for smooth movement of teams, officials, and personnel.
Boston Dynamics and Supernal, two notable Group companies, will participate in the updated agreement with FIFA, offering the future mobility brands great chances to present their knowledge, technology, and sustainable approaches to innovation before a truly global audience. The Group's main robotics affiliate is Boston Dynamics, and its advanced air mobility division is Supernal. Both businesses are essential to the Group's transition into a provider of intelligent and environmentally friendly mobility solutions, motivated to develop emerging forms of transport.
