Faraz Sadeghi Moghadam and Mohammad Rezaei were awarded the silver prize at the IFIA INV Members for developing "the portable solar refrigerator." Sadeghi Moghadam oversaw the presentation of the innovation.

It was welcomed by the World Federation's judges in Switzerland and was granted a silver medal for its numerous uses in diverse industries, as well as its compatibility with the environment and climate change. It also shattered China's and America's monopolies. They are now working on another idea related to urban garbage management.

Javad Dastyafte, another student, received a bronze medal in this competition for his product made of organic honey with four unique formulations to be utilised for the treatment of various disorders such as diabetes, eye cataracts, pregnancy, and fertility.

Meanwhile, Sepideh Amiri received a special prize during the 16th Korea International Women's Invention Exposition (KIWIE) 2023, which was held from July 20 to July 23 at Goyang's Korea International Exhibition Centre (KINTEX).

The International Federation of Inventors Associations is a non-profit organisation that works to spread the culture of invention and creativity, assist inventors in transferring technology, and collaborate with other organisations.

In order to achieve its goals, IFIA works together with important international organisations. IFIA was founded in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland, and is recognised as a public utility organisation by the Republic and Canton of Geneva.

Individual and group contests were held; 830 innovations were submitted by 1,500 inventors from 50 nations who competed.

This year, Ehsan Aghajani Rizi, a Ph.D. student in tourist at Tehran University's Qeshm International Campus, also earned a world silver award for his tourist invention.

Participants in the competition came from all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Holland, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Morocco, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Poland, Russia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brazil, Malaysia, The United Arab Emirates, and China.

The most essential factors for jury members in reviewing submitted inventions were public demand, economic and cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness.

These ideas and inventions were divided into 13 categories, which included computer science (software), machinery, civil engineering, environmental protection, agriculture, medicine, electronics, aerospace, mechanics, genetics, and so on.
