Irish Embassy invites AwakenAngels to Share Their Story

AwakenAngels has been invited to share their story at the Irish Embassy in London. Founded in 2023, the firm caters in the Investment Management industry, being the first and only angel investment syndicate that is led by women.

This investment syndicates have its operations all across Ireland, dedicated towards assisting female founders in the country. The firm was founded by a team of 4 strong females, boasting nearly 100 angel investors. Working in partnership with AwakenHub, the sister enterprise, the syndicate provides assistance and interventions for the startups that are founded by women.

Sinead Crowley, the Co-founder of AwakenHub and AwakenAngels, said, “We don't believe in hurling from the ditch, we want to be the change that is needed so we took it upon ourselves to build the first women led angel investment syndicate investing in women founded startups on the island of Ireland.”

The founders confirmed that both the platforms share a mutual mission i.e., “to have a social impact mission to remove barriers to investment, scale and success for and by Irish connected women at home and abroad.” The story of the syndicate has inspired many women in the industry to thrive towards success.
