Iron Road A Consulting Strengthens Team with SEC Veteran Jennifer Conwell as Director

Iron Road Partners, the regulatory advisory firm with expertise in the investment management sector, announced today the addition of Jennifer Conwell, a former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) exam manager, as Director.

Jennifer Conwell comes from widely renowned 24-year tenure at the SEC, during which she worked as an examination manager in the Division of Examinations' Private Funds Unit. Throughout her tenure at the SEC, she managed groups of examiners for several regional offices, where she concentrated on conducting end-to-end exams of complex private fund-investment advisers across private equity, credit, real estate, and hedge funds.

She was also an SEC Inspector in which she performed inspections of various broker-dealer organizations. The issues that she covered were a broad array of topics including retail products, financial and operational controls, and trading, unregistered sales of securities, investment banking, and internal controls
