In order to explore Nepal’s business opportunities, Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce’s delegation arrived in Kathmandu. President of Israel-Asia and Chairperson of Israel-India Chamber of Commerce, Anat Bernstein-Reich was leading the delegation.
He hosted a meeting with Shova Gyawali, Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal’s (FWEAN) President. Willingness has been shown by the Israeli business delegation towards collaboration with Nepal’s women entrepreneurs regarding agriculture as well as bringing Israeli technology to the country.
Comprising of 18 women entrepreneurs, the Israeli delegation visited the country for 2-days at the invitation of the FWEAN. It also praised the Nepali women’s participation in political fields as well as in the industry.
President Shova stated, “Our business women delegation came to explore business opportunities in Nepal. Meeting FWEAN was so inspiring. When women meet, we speak the same language. We understand each other because no matter where are from, we face similar challenges."
In addition, President Anat also made an announcement on a webinar initiation regarding agriculture while taking Israeli technologies to Nepali soil. President Shova added, “We believe there are numerous avenues where Nepal and Israel can collaborate. "We are eager to learn from Israel's advanced agricultural technologies and innovative tourism strategies. Your expertise in these areas can significantly enhance our initiative and help us achieve sustainable growth.”
