The U.S. President's Lifetime Achievement Award has been given to Jane Kimemia, the CEO of Optiva Capital Partners, in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian work and unwavering dedication to community development.
Kimemia received the honor during a prominent Global Reputation Forum recently held at the Financial Times Headquarters in London, according to a statement from Optiva Capital Partners.
One of the greatest honors for people whose leadership and service have had a significant impact on their communities is the U.S. President's Lifetime Achievement Award, which is administered by AmeriCorps and the Office of the President.
The award citation was presented by Ambassador Edna Frenchwood, the Goodwill Ambassador of the State of Georgia, USA.
Yvonne Thompson, King Charles' Deputy Lieutenant, and Professor Simon Hepburn of Aston University gave her the medal.
The citation read in part, “The U.S. Presidency congratulates you for taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good and women’s empowerment. We are proud to present you with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Pin today, a distinction that sets you apart as a true leader. Your exemplary service delivers a powerful message encouraging others to act.”
In a heartfelt acceptance speech, Kimemia expressed deep gratitude, saying, “I am deeply grateful to God for this recognition. Reflecting on my 27-year career journey, I am thankful for the opportunities to serve those I’m passionate about and the incredible team at Optiva Capital Partners. This award is a call to continue impacting and leaving a legacy for future generations.”
Kimemia received the Global Corporate Leadership Award from the Global Reputation Poll, which was presented at the UK Parliament's House of Commons, in addition to the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes her broad influence, capacity to inspire good change, and notable positive impact on society, especially in Africa. Her revolutionary leadership and constructive social impact in Africa are recognized by the two awards.
Drawing on her 27 years of expertise and her contribution to Optiva Capital Partners' rise to international prominence, Kimemia took part in lively conversations on women in leadership and business during the two-day Global Reputation Forum. In order to emphasize the firm's influence on global access and wealth retention, she outlined its four main areas of expertise: investment immigration, investment advisory, international real estate, and insurance.
Kimemia's legacy as a trailblazer igniting revolutionary change is cemented by her recognition as a humanitarian and business leader. Her accomplishments serve as a lighthouse for upcoming generations, demonstrating the strength of impact-driven and service-oriented leadership.
