Kansas State University to hold Annual Women in Business Career Summit 2024

Fourth annual Women in Business Career Summit of Kansas State University shall be held on October 28, 2024. It will start from 8:30 a.m. and shall end by 1 p.m. The event is being hosted by College of Business Administration’s Center for Principled Business.

Located in Manhattan, Kansas State University is referred to as K-State that provides higher learning in the United States. In addition, students, faculty, staff, corporate partners as well as community professionals can take part in the event.

The summit has been organised aiming to inspire females in academic and career paths by providing them with tools for personal and professional growth. 2024 Summit shall feature keynote speakers that includes two K-State alumnae i.e., SEG Media Collective Founder and CEO Sheila Ellis-Glasper alongside AT&T Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer Charlene Lake.

Sheila also serves as the Social Media & Marketing Consultant/Strategist at her company. However, she is also working with Tre's Squeeze as Chief Marketing Officer from the past 3 years and at Black Entrepreneurs of the Flint Hills as Founder & Executive Director for over 4 years. Moreover, Charlene is in Board Leadership with Kansas State University Foundation and has done BA-Journalism and Mass Communication from K-State.
