The Women Founders Showcase is going to take place on March 5, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA, hosted by Keiretsu Forum MST and Pennovation Works. The event aims to address the persistent funding gap for women-led startups by bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders. Aligned with International Women’s Day 2025 and its theme, "Accelerate Action," the showcase will highlight opportunities for investment, mentorship, and collaboration while shining a spotlight on high potential women led ventures.

Although women are driving significant innovation across various industries, they secure less than 2% of annual venture capital funding, as reported by PitchBook. The Women Founders Showcase aims to tackle this disparity by connecting investors with women led companies currently raising capital, offering attendees the opportunity to back impactful and scalable solutions.

Mellie Chow, a venture partner at Archangel Axion Fund with more than 20 years of experience advising early-stage companies, will deliver the keynote address titled "What If We Could Accelerate Action?” In her speech, Chow will urge founders, investors, and funders to drive meaningful change within the startup ecosystem.

The event will showcase six women led startups: Actuated Medical – Motion-based healthcare devices. Relavo Medical – Safer at home dialysis, Couplet Care – Maternal and infant care solutions, InnovoTex – Drug delivery for cancer, ConferenceConnect.com – Event collaboration platforms, Baleena – Filtration devices to reduce micro plastic pollution.

The panel will discuss strategies for women entrepreneurs, including alternative funding, business scalability, and building advisory networks. Panelists include Ellen Weber (Robin Hood Ventures), Lindsay R. Mozdziock (Morgan Lewis), Julia Anthony (SOLUtion Medical), and other featured investors and founders.
