Since the International Women’s Day is approaching on March 8, 2025, a landmark event is being hosted by La Mode Group UK in an alliance with Global Women Africa. This event is getting organised with an intent to celebrate the achievements of African Females. This particular event has been titled as ‘100 Most Influential Leading African Women’ and is all set to be held in London, United Kingdom. It has been said to have a theme ‘Accelerate Action’.

With this theme, the event shall commemorate African women who have been redefining leadership, innovation, and empowerment across numerous sectors. Some of the honorees includes Esteemed economist and global leader Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Nigeria); Renowned actress and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha (South Africa); President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan (Tanzania); Acclaimed author and feminist icon Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (Nigeria); Influential fashion icon and advocate Nana Akua Addo (Ghana); and Visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Deborah Omale (Nigeria), amongst several other women  making an indelible mark on African vicinity as well as the world.

In a statement, the organizers stated that the event is being organised, intending to be a dynamic power, progress, and possibility celebration, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with African and global leaders for networking opportunities, get inspired by resilience, innovation, and success stories and lastly shaping Africa’s future and African women.
