Leticia Goncalves and Jim McKelvey appointed to the Board of Directors by Emerson

Leticia Goncalves and Jim McKelvey have been appointed to Emerson's board of directors. They will take charge from May 2, 2023. The Emerson Board will include 13 members after the appointment of Leticia and Jim.

James Turley, the chairperson of the Emerson Board of Directors stated that they are happy to welcome Leticia and Jim to the Emerson Board.

Leticia will be a great addition to the board of directors as she has good experience in handling international teams, upgrading technology, and accelerating changes.

Jim will provide Emerson with a distinct viewpoint that will be focused on innovations in the company and will continue to make technology and R&D investments across its automation portfolio.

These appointments will demonstrate the Emerson Board's dedication to ongoing refreshment, and they will certainly go forward with the portfolio journey.

Lal Karsanbhai, President and Chief Executive Officer, mentioned that the company looks forward to working closely with Leticia and Jim as they focus on driving execution followed by the recent acquisitions. The board has established a Technology and Environmental Sustainability Committee (the "Committee") in addition to the new director appointments. The committee will look after the technological and R&D expenses, ensure the best cybersecurity procedures and help in the initiatives and objectives for environmental sustainability laid by Emerson which will be participated by both Leticia and Jim.
