Lexitas, a technology-enabled litigation services provider and Apax portfolio company, enthusiastically welcomes Linda Addison to its Board of Directors in a deliberate move to improve corporate governance and produce long-term value.
Lexitas CEO Gary Buckland expressed excitement over the appointment, saying, "Linda is a powerful addition to our board, and we are thrilled to have her on the Lexitas team." Addison's considerable experience as an Independent Director and Chief Executive, along with deep industry understanding, makes her a tremendous asset in steering the company's growth.
Linda Addison is the Lead Director of Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL), an S&P 500 business, and has previously served as an Independent Director at KPMG LLP. Prior to joining the board, she was the US Managing Partner and a member of the worldwide board of Norton Rose Fulbright, one of the world's largest legal firms.
Addison is active with a number of groups outside of her professional employment, including the Council on Foreign Relations, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Catalyst. Notably, she has advocated for women's growth in law and business, receiving awards such as the American Bar Association's Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award.
Lexitas, which was created in 1987, provides a full range of legal support services, including court reporting, record retrieval, process service, registered agent, legal staffing, document review, and commercial contract outsourcing. Addison's hiring is intended to strengthen Lexitas' position as a market leader in legal services.
