Lisa Sepulveda has been named as global chief people and culture officer by Edelman. During her tenure, she will be reporting to the global president and COO of Edelman, Matthew Harrington. As per the DJE Holdings agency’s statement, her responsibility shall include looking after the global talent development of the firm along with recruitment and retention.
In addition, Lisa will have to work with leaders across the network in order to satisfy the employees’ needs while also focusing on nurturing culture of Edelman across its 65 offices. Lisa has taken up the seat of Soni Basi who’s the former chief people officer.
Lisa stated in her email, “Great talent is built on the foundation of a very strong, inclusive culture. I am planning to help inspire our teams, bring on the best talent, implement new career pathing opportunities and deliver value and great work for clients.”
Prior to Edelman, she was the President, Global Consumer Marketing at Weber Shandwick for over 3 years and CEO of Euro RSCG Worldwide PR for 3 years.
Moreover, Lisa also serves as the executive sponsor at global women’s equality network of Edelman, which is an employee resource group that focuses on creating an environment for building women’s career from all backgrounds.
