London Restaurateur Launches "Made by Women" Series

The brains behind KOYN, Bombay Bustle, MiMi Mei Fair, Jamavar, and Socca, among London's finest restaurateurs, Samyukta Nair, has introduced a new event series called "Made by Women." The show honours the imaginative voyages of very successful female entrepreneurs in London.

Nair is now focusing on highlighting the accomplishments of other women in the sector after winning major honours including Restaurateur of the Year at the National Restaurant Awards and Best Restaurateur at the GQ Food & Drinks Award.

On September 4, the "Made by Women" series will debut at Nair's eatery, Bombay Bustle. Eshita Kabra, the creator of the sustainable fashion company By Rotation, will speak at the first event. Kabra will discuss her remarkable journey from a financial professional to a prominent role in the fashion industry.

On September 11, after the opening ceremony, acclaimed writer Rosie Birkett will take the stage. Birkett, who is well-known for her cookbooks, including "The Joyful Home Cook" and "East London Food," will talk about her writing career and experiences creating recipes.

The renowned culinary writer Skye McAlpine will be featured on October 2. McAlpine will discuss her love of throwing spectacular dinner parties and share with the audience her insider knowledge and strategies.

On October 9, Olia Hercules, co-founder of Cook for Ukraine, former chef at Ottolenghi, author, and activist, will wrap up the "Made by Women" series. Hercules will share her recipes and discuss the preservation of Ukrainian food and culture via her cooking.

The series will begin each evening with champagne and canapés, then move into lively discussions and live Q&A sessions with the featured speakers. Subsequently, the guests will be served an exquisite dinner that includes some of Bombay Bustle's most well-known foods, including as samosas, paneer butter masala, papdi chaat, Malabar lamb curry, dabba dal, and jalebi cheesecake for dessert.

Samyukta shared her excitement for the premiere of "Made by Women," saying, "I am very excited to launch Made By Women and explore everything from fashion to cuisine while speaking with an incredible group of achievers and dreamers. I'm excited to have a dynamic group of female entrepreneurs visit Bombay Bustle so we can exchange knowledge and experiences."
