Louis Vuitton Offers Job Roles to Korean Women After Career Breaks

The Global high-end organization in the fast-growing luxury industry, Louis Vuitton has offered employment for South Korean Women who have taken breaks in their careers.

It is a unique step taken by a renowned company which was announced on May 22, the French Fashion Label held the "LV 2023 Women-Up Career Concert" in Seoul City Hall, which attracted over 100 female job seekers.

This initiative was introduced after it posted a nearly 40 percent increase to 418 billion q n ($320) in South Korea in 2022 a year before. Sales increased by 15.3 percent over a year to 1.7 trillion won. In the seventh largest luxury market in the world, its profit growth is above the industry's average rise of 24 percent to $16.8 billion.

The participants at the job fair will be provided fair employment from Louis Vuitton. They will have the option of working as normal employees either full-time or time part-time.

During the Q&A session, the French luxury brand also provided career advice and guidance to the participants and the people who applied. The event highlighted Louis Vuitton's initiatives to improve its image as it makes a determined push in South Korea, where Gen Z and millennials, have a fever of luxury items.

The leader of the fashion industry will provide a one-year mentorship program to the new female employees. Also, they will receive bonus points that can be used for their promotion and performance reviews.
