The Asia Pacific region remains a key focus for Aurecon, with rapid growth driven by economic and technological advancements. Louise emphasized that engineering is not just a means to an end but a force for good, contributing to safe and sustainable outcomes for society.
She noted Aurecon's diversification of service offerings to address client challenges, such as climate change, renewable energy transitions, and technological investments and expressed her commitment to elevating Aurecon's work and addressing the most pressing challenges facing the industry in her new role as CEO.
Aurecon Chair Giam Swiegers praised Bill Cox for his contributions, which included achieving record profits and expanding the company's geographical footprint. Under Cox's leadership, Aurecon became one of Asia Pacific's largest employee-owned engineering and advisory companies. After stepping down, Bill Cox will continue to work with Adams and remain active in the engineering sector through directorships and other roles.
