Maesa, one of the leading beauty incubator, is breaking new ground with the announcement of its transformative programme, the #MaesaMagicIncubator.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Maesa is paying it forward by providing early-stage business owners in the beauty and wellness industries from underserved populations an unprecedented opportunity to turn their ideas into marketable, scalable enterprises.

The #MaesaMagicIncubator aims to close the access gap for entrepreneurs, welcoming individuals from diverse backgrounds, including women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, and elders. Maesa is renowned for its success in growing significant international beauty brands and is now committed to empowering underrepresented communities in the beauty industry.

CEO of Maesa, Piyush Jain, expressed the company's belief in the power of investing in communities, stating, "Maesa embraces the principle that investing in our communities yields shared rewards -- and a little bit of magic." The programme seeks to foster inclusivity, creativity, and innovation by offering a comprehensive curriculum, dedicated mentoring, practical instruction, and early finance to participants.

The #MaesaMagicIncubator will select three bright beauty and wellness consumer packaged goods (CPG) entrepreneurs who are either in the pre/early launch phase or have generated less than $100,000 in sales. These entrepreneurs will receive a life-changing opportunity, including a competitive entry into the "Future of Commerce and Work" programme, presented by the Emerson Group, at the prestigious Harvard Faculty Club. The programme will span 12 weeks, focusing on achieving each brand's unique goals. It will culminate in a pitch deck presentation before an esteemed advisory board comprised of Maesa executives, founding partners, and top business professionals, providing invaluable advice and resources. Successful completion of the programme will be rewarded with a $35,000 stipend.

Oshiya Savur, Maesa's chief brand officer, emphasized the broader objective of the #MaesaMagicIncubator, which goes beyond brand development. "We are dedicated to empowering people and highlighting their distinctive voices. This initiative aims to redefine what is possible and give every dream, no matter how big or where it came from, a chance to succeed," said Savur.

Aspiring entrepreneurs interested and qualified for the #MaesaMagicIncubator programme can submit their applications before September 1, 2023. By fostering diversity of viewpoints and encouraging innovation, Maesa seeks to drive economic progress and shared achievement while addressing unmet customer needs in the beauty industry. This historic programme promises to pave the way for a more inclusive and varied beauty business landscape, fueled by the power of empowerment and community support.
