Maryam Ziaei led iSono Health Wins Arab Health's Innov8 competition

Following rigorous week-long results likewise in which a total of 24 different businesses pitch over the introduction three days of Arab Health, iSono Health, the world's first AI-driven mobile and replaced by machines 3D breast ultrasound scanner, has won this year's Arab Health Innov8 competition, along with a cash prize of US$10,000.

Fitmedik, a one-stop shop for health systems to prevent, monitor, manage, and treat burnout in real-time, Lazarus 3D, creators of 3D printing and advanced visualization analysis to establish exact, physical replicas of patients' organs, Robot Dreams, an innovative AI-based programme that has a patent pending for the detection of cardiovascular diseases, and Sky Medical Technology with their Geko device, which is worn at the knee and raises venous arterial and marrow circulation.

The ATUSA scanner from iSono Health automatically records the whole breast volume, enabling consistent point-of-care breast ultrasound imaging without the requirement for a qualified ultrasound operator. The exclusive scan technique from ATUSA gives doctors access to cutting-edge 3D visualization, giving them greater confidence in patient monitoring and diagnosis. This week at Arab Health, iSono Health announced a cooperation with Abdul Latif Jameel Health that would see the distribution of its ATUSA scanner in the first 31 nations of the Global South.

The new iteration of the Future Health Summit, which supposedly occurred from 11 am to 2 pm at the Museum of the Future, concluded the final day of Arab Health with great success. The invitation-only, fully immersive event for C-suite executives in the healthcare sector explored the possibilities for the future of health and healthcare in the Metaverse with a focus on AI and robotics and their influence on how the healthcare business is evolving.

There were well-known business visionaries, metaverse specialists, authors, and futurists in attendance. They included Dr. Timothy F. Witham, Professor of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, who performed the first augmented reality spinal surgery and will speak about healthcare in the future concerning the Metaverse.

Dr. Daniel Kraft, a physician-scientist, innovator, and the founder and chair of NextMed Health, joined him to talk about the Metaverse and the upcoming technological change. Other presenters were Bader Al Qubaisi, Chief Executive Officer of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Shaker Zainal, Chief mSMEs Officer of Emirates Development Bank, and Francesco Redivo, Senior Director of Business, G42 Healthcare.

The Qatar Foundation, the Ministry of Health Oman, and several CEOs from top UAE and international hospitals and investment firms joined well above the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Health Authority, and the Department of Health to ensure discussion at the highest level.
