Mastercard and Women Choice together will create one million jobs for women in MENA

The multinational group, Women Choice and Mastercard collaborated to help women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). These two firms will together create one million jobs for women and promote the region's economic growth and development.

They have partnered to establish a program called 'Social Innovation Incubator' (SII) for women's employment. This program will support female entrepreneurs and provide job possibilities in their preferred industries over the next five years. It will additionally provide mentorship and instructions on the subjects include, including company planning, capacity development, recruitment expertise, and human resources.

In partnership with Mastercard, the Women Choice program aims to empower female social entrepreneurs all over the Arab world by providing them with the proper tools and resources they would need and creating 1,000 opportunities for females in their respective enterprises.

Nezha Alaoui, Founder & CEO of Women Choice expressed her excitement to launch this initiative with the support of Mastercard which is a global firm that genuinely wants to look after the improvement of women's situation in workplaces. 'SII For Women's Employment' is also a reason for the success which is linked to strong partnerships with practical plans in place.

Mastercard has always been a support system for women's empowerment. In terms of providing women access to digital tools and training to help them launch and expand their businesses set up networking and mentorship opportunities for female business owners and also provide them greater opportunities for jobs.

The Executive Vice President of Market Development for Mastercard in EEMEA for Mastercard, Amnah Ajmal also said about the program launch. She said that their collaboration with Women Choice will provide a significant contribution to women with the proper skills, tools, and resources that they need to succeed and promote economic development in the area.

As a part of the aim to create a more sustainable and inclusive world, Mastercard has done a global commitment to connect 25 million female entrepreneurs to the digital economy by 2025.
