In an alliance with The Asia Foundation, Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth has revealed the Strivers’ Hub with an intent to boost economic opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) of Malaysia, under the support of Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWPM) of Malaysia through its agency, Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita (JPW).
Strivers’ Hub is an innovative digital platform that has been designed to offer MSMEs with comprehensive support and it has a special focus on businesses that are owned and led by women. This platform is a holistic resource center that comes with tools and programs range, aimed at aiding MSMEs to navigate growth challenges. This hub will upskill women to run their businesses in a much better way, keeping the focus on the growth of the enterprise.
Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development Dato Sri Nancy Shukri stated, “The launch of Strivers’ Hub marks a significant milestone in our journey towards women’s economic empowerment. This partnership with Mastercard and The Asia Foundation is a crucial step in enabling women to become successful entrepreneurs and contribute meaningfully to our nation’s progress. To reach our goal of 30% women-owned SMEs, we need specialized financing programs designed with women’s needs in mind, ensuring they have the capital necessary to grow their businesses.”
