In a recent announcement, Medtronic has revealed that Linnea Burman shall become the senior vice president (SVP) and president of its Neurovascular business after succeeding Dan Volz. This is a part of the organisation’s Neuroscience portfolio.
During her tenure, she will take the responsibility for portfolio strategy, product development, commercial execution and the overall Medtronic global business’ financial performance which is focused on stroke treatment.
After her promotion, Linnea shall report to Medtronic’s executive VP and president of the Neuroscience portfolio, Brett Wall. In a statement, he said, “Linnea is a strategic and visionary leader who maintains a customer-first mindset while building and developing high-performing teams. Her strong record of success, deep MedTech industry knowledge, and previous experience in stroke, demonstrate her business acumen and underscore the commitment to making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. I have the utmost confidence the Neurovascular business will continue to thrive under her leadership.”
Linnea Burman is a seasoned professional and an industry expert with over 25 years of experience in healthcare technology. She has been with Medtronic for nearly 2 decades. Prior to this firm, she was the Account Executive of LaBreche Murray Public Relations for almost 3 years and Public Relations Specialist at Carlson for over a year.
