Women with up to 5 years of experience in the building and construction sector are invited to apply for the 2023 Women Building Australia mentor program, said to Master Builder's Australia which will begin on March 28 and ends on February 28, it is a nine-month long program.

The Master Builder's Australia CEO Denita Wawn stated that the participants will be selected based on proven industry experience to obtain support, encouragement, and advice through a mentorship relationship.

The participants will have to attend every session and program like the launch, mid-program review, and year-end wrap-up.

Australia's most important industry is the building and construction business. About 1.29 million people have been employed in this particular sector in November 2022 and are working in more than 445,000 construction companies. But the female ratio of the workforce in these sectors is comparatively less. Only 13.6% of all industrial employees are women currently.

Ms. Denita stated the need and importance of women in the business sector, as women’s participation is low in trades, and the industry is losing out the talents and skills of half the population. She also mentioned that the initiative of this program and its events will put a good impact on females and make them take participate in the workforce.

The owner of the Elite building, Rebecca Bishop was also present to be a part of the session.

The funding of this program Master Builder's Australia is being done by the Federal Government of Australia to support women to succeed in the building and construction sector. It contains several programs, such as career expos, a register of female-owned businesses, business resiliency training, and a special helpline for victims of harassment and discrimination.
