The wealth and management division of Bank of America, Merrill Lynch has replaced its former Private Wealth Head Don Plaus, and appointed the new head, Lindsay Hans who will lead both International and Institutional.
Don served the company's charge for six years on both the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Divisions. He was connected with the firm for 32 long years and now he decided to take retire last week.
Lindsay will take the charge of this sector and lead it from now onwards. She has experience developing successful leadership teams across her divisions and has solid connections with advisors and clients. She will also lead Merrill Women's Exchange as a national executive sponsor and will also become a member of the global diversity and inclusion council for Bank of America.
The bank's division Merrill made some other changes to its team as well, including:
Keith Glenfield will now lead the Northeast Division. He was the supervisor of Investment Solutions & Personal Retirement before this. Keith is working for this organization for the last 27 years, and because of his executive role, he will also take the charge of Merrill's business integration.
Nancy Fahmy will become the sole head of the company's Investment Solutions Group. She recently led the organization’s alternative investment sector to record growth. She also serves as the sponsor for Educational Opportunity's Limited Partner Advisory Council in Institute for Portfolio Alternatives and also a member of the Women's Leadership Council.
As Don will retire at the end of March, he will guide both Keith and Nancy about their new responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition.
