Midven announces The Fortuna Fellowship' for Female-Led Startups

Midven has made an announcement of a new initiative entitled as ‘The Fortuna Fellowship’. This initiative has been made in partnership with ‘The 51% Club’. Headquartered in Birmingham, Midven caters in the Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals industry that was founded in the year 1991. It specialises in Exceed Midlands Advantage Fund, Early Advantage Fund, UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund, Advantage Growth Fund, Stephenson Fund, amongst other.

In addition, The 51% Club was founded in 2024 and caters in the Business Consulting and Services industry with specialities in women in business, entrepreneurs, networking, events, masterclasses, business growth, scaleups, high-growth, and leadership.

Moreover, this fellowship is a first-of-its-kind accelerator that shall see 5 startups specifically led by females, to receive up to £2 million in investment

Midven’s Fund Principal for the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund Rupert Lyle stated, “We are excited to launch the Fortuna Fellowship and provide a platform for talented female founders to thrive.
