Miss Colombia 2022 Visits India to Champion Education

On the occasion of New Year, Camila Pinzon Miss Colombia 2022 is on a mission to champion education among the underserved in India. The young beauty queen is commitment to educational advocacy and her visit aims to empower children and promote educational opportunities for the underserved community.

Camila will be interacting with children in various child centers and underserved communities during her India visit. She will focus on rendering educational materials while also imparting motivational speeches.

Camila stated, "Becoming Miss Colombia has amplified my voice and extended my reach to a broader audience. It has magnified the impact of my efforts to champion educational policies and challenge societal barriers, allowing me to advocate for positive change on a larger scale."

Miss Colombia 2022 has also decided to work for the cause of removing menstrual stigma. Camila will work with KHUSHII’s “Pads for Freedom” campaign that focuses on workshops and discussions, to remove myths about menstruation.

Camila has been a champion of educational policies. She also has a background in management and marketing and holds two master's degrees from Sorbonne University in Paris. She is on a mission to bring education to those that deserve it the most and has recently done commendable work in ten countries, including Turkey, Syria, Poland, Ukraine, Indonesia, Kenya, among others.
