Mitsubishi Electric Corp joins 30% Club Japan to Boost Women in Leadership

In a recent announcement, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) has revealed that it has joined the 30% Club Japan. This step has been taken as part of a global campaign, intending to increase women’s ratio in key decision-making positions in the realm of corporate.

Founded in 1921, Mitsubishi Electric caters in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing industry with headquarters in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. It specialises in Air conditioning systems, Automotive equipment, Elevators & Escalators, Energy systems, Factory automation systems, Public systems etc.

Besides, 30% Club has been founded in 2010 in the UK, expanding to over 20 countries including Japan where it targeted at least 30 percent women on TOPIX 100 company boards by the year 2030.

Mitsubishi Electric has committed itself towards making sure that each and every member of the workforce gets the chance to express their individuality as well as prowess. This forward step is a part of its goal for realizing Circular Digital-Engineering.
