A signing event has taken place between Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) and the UAE Gender Balance Council where the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan was also present.
The signing event was regarding a cooperation agreement that was held during the Annual Meetings 2024 of UAE Government in Abu Dhabi. The agreement has been made with an intent to boost the participation of Emirati women in private sector via joint initiatives.
During the event, the agreement was signed by the Secretary General of Nafis Ghannam Al Mazrouei and UAE Gender Balance Council Vice President Mona Ghanem Al Marri, in order to enhance collaboration between both of these parties while assisting Emirati women for their roles in private sector.
Expressing pride for this agreement, H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the agreement’s role for advancing leadership opportunities for Emirati women.
Emphasising the importance of gender diversity, Ghannam Al Mazrouei stated about the private sector, noting that this alliance will have key objectives of Emiratisation efforts. He said, “We are proud of this partnership, which aims to promote gender diversity and empower women in leadership positions.”
