NaVOBA Appoints Rakhi Agarwal, SANOFI's Global Head of Supplier Diversity & Risk, to Board of Directors

The National Veteran-Owned Business Association's (NaVOBA) board of directors warmly welcomes Rakhi Agarwal, global head of supplier diversity and risk at Sanofi.

Two-thirds of the Board of Director seats on NaVOBA must be held by corporations in order to ensure that the organisation is focused on providing the greatest benefit to both Corporate Allies who work to include Certified Veteran's Business EnterprisesTM (VBEs) and Certified Service-Disabled Veteran's Business EnterprisesTM (SDVBEs) in their supply chains as well as the veteran-owned supplier firms of all sizes.

Due to her experiences, Rakhi is able to contribute valuable abilities. Currently serving as AVP, Global Head of Supplier Diversity and Risk at SANOFI is Rakhi Agarwal. She holds both the positions of president and head of the board for the non-profit organization "Discover." Rakhi has over 20 years of in-depth industry experience and is a visionary leader in supply chain management. Throughout her career, she has held a range of positions with companies including J&J, Merck, and BMS, among others.

Rakhi has a BS in supply chain management from Michigan State University's Eli Broad Business School and an MBA in operations management from the University of Southern Indiana.

Rakhi is an expert in risk management and negotiating. Recently, the USC Marshall School of Business presented her with the Women's Leadership in Supply Chain Award in honour of her efforts, passion, and dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the supply chain. She has published numerous articles in the magazine "Inside Supply Management," and most recently, the USC Marshall School of Business recognised her with the award.
