The newly launched media entertainment company, Nile Group has announced in a statement that its management structure will be female-led. Nile Group’s female-led executive team houses high calibre accomplished professionals who have built a strong reputation in their respective fields.
Biola Sokenu has been named the Group Executive Director for the Nile Group. Lolu Desalu is the Group Executive Director of Nile Group and Nowekere Alexis Segun-Ojo has been named as the General Manager, Distribution & Marketing for Nile Entertainment. Abimbola Craig was named as the Vice President, Productions and Bukky George-Taylor has been appointed as the Vice President, Luxury Entertainment, Nile X according to the company statement.
Through the statement Moses Babatope, CEO, Nile Group shared his pleasure about the company’s female-led executive team. “We are thrilled to have such a talented and diverse group of women leading our organisation. At Nile group, we are committed to promote a diverse and inclusive environment,” he said.
The statement further read, “Appointing a female-led executive team reflects our dedication to empowering women in leadership roles and driving innovation through diverse perspectives. Their expertise and passion will drive our company forward and help us achieve our goals. We believe that by breaking barriers and embracing diversity, we can create a stronger and more successful business.” As per the statement, Biola Sokenu is an entertainment industry stalwart with over two decades of experience under the belt. Lolu Desalu, brings to the table 18 years of marketing experience.
Nowekere Alexis has over 13 years of expertise in public relations, brand strategy, and strategic communication. Filmmaker and procedure, Roli Craig, has been brought on board as the Vice President, Productions.
