With N20m in advertising support given to 10 women-owned startups and SMEs, high-traffic areas of Lagos have seen more than 2.8 million unique views. The Nimbus Aid Project, a corporate social responsibility initiative of Nimbus Media Limited, claimed to have made significant advancements toward its objective of assisting nonprofit organizations and small and medium-sized businesses in Nigeria.
Since its inception in 2016, the Nimbus Aid Project has had a positive influence on 13 organizations, 11 of which are owned and operated by women. The strategic efforts of the initiative have improved community development, widened access to essential services, and boosted economic resilience.
The mission of the Nimbus Aid Project was explained by Wale Adegoke, Chief Executive Officer of Nimbus Media Ltd. They believe that businesses have a significant obligation to make a positive contribution to society. This project is dedicated to improving the lives of those who need it the most.
This project supports women-owned businesses, which is an important step in promoting gender equality in entrepreneurship and encouraging more women to hold leadership positions.
The HeadFort Foundation's managing partner and a program beneficiary, Oluyemi Orija, praised the initiative as a game-changer for businesses.
