Nikki Haley, a prominent Indian American, announced her campaign for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. She stated that her goal is to move past the "stale notions and faded concepts" of the past.

The former governor of South Carolina declared, while speaking to a crowd in Charleston, "I have dedicated my life to this struggle and I am just getting started. I am vying to become the next president of the United States of America on behalf of a powerful and proud America.

According to Nikki Haley, "I stand before you as the daughter of immigrants, the wife of a combat veteran, and the mother of two great children. I've held two positions: governor of the wonderful state of South Carolina and ambassador of the United States to the UN. Above all, I'm a thankful citizen of the United States who is confident that, if we band together and fight to preserve our nation, our greatest days are still to come.

She claimed that her parents moved to Bamberg, South Carolina in hopes of a better life after leaving India.

"I am the happy daughter of immigrants from India. My parents moved to Bamburg, South Carolina, in hopes of a better life after leaving India. Every day, including on our worst days, my parents would remind my siblings and me that we are "fortunate" to reside in America," the woman recalled.

She criticized the Biden administration, claiming that Joe Biden best represented the nation's failure to keep up with the times. Our leaders have too little faith in the people and too much faith in the federal government. The total amount of the national debt is $30 trillion. This is not the America I grew up in, and it's not the America I'll leave to my children.

"We are more than ready for a young crop to lead us into the future," she continued. "We are ready to move beyond the stale ideas and withered names of the past."

She stated that the Republican Party had lost the popular vote in seven of the last eight presidential elections as a "message" to the party.

"Our cause is just, but we haven't been able to win over the majority of Americans. Well, that is over. Put your faith in a young crop if you're sick of losing. And if you want to succeed, not only as a party but also as a nation, then stand by me, she exclaimed.

In a video posted earlier, Nikki Haley declared that she would challenge fellow candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Nikki Haley called for fresh leadership in the party, which she acknowledged has frequently lost the people's vote in presidential elections, as she made her choice public.

She wrote, "Get thrilled! " when posting the video. It's time for a fresh batch. Let's get started!

"Out of the last eight presidential elections, Republicans have come in last in the popular vote in seven of them. Nikki Haley was quoted by The Hill as saying, "That has to change.

"Joe Biden's record is appalling, but that is not surprising. The elite in Washington has repeatedly let us down. A new lead generation is needed, she continued.

Nikki Haley stated in the video that was shared on Twitter, "I was the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. neither white nor black. I was unique. However, my mother would frequently tell me and my siblings that "Your duty is not to dwell on the differences, but the commonalities," and my parents told us daily how privileged we remained to be in the US.

Some people view our past as proof that America's founding values are flawed, she continued. They claim that the prospect of freedom is unreal. Some consider that our thoughts are not only indecent but also racist andfoul. There is no way that this could be true.

She served as the group's previous president after being first appointed to the South Carolina House in 2004. Six years later, in 2010, she was named the state's first female governor, and when she took office in 2011, she was really the youngest governor in the nation. According to CNN, she resigned from her job in the middle of her candidature to become Trump's UN ambassador, a role she held only until end of 2018.

As a state lawmaker, Nikki got her start in politics. By a razor-thin margin of 51% to 47%, she was elected governor of the adamantly Republican state of South Carolina. However, she later tripled it when she ran for re-election in 2014.

Nikki made history in 2015 when she signed a law that ordered the South Carolina House to stop flying the Confederate battle flag, the military symbol of the South's struggle to keep slavery.

Ms. Nikki was unanimously confirmed by the Senate, 96 to 4 after President Donald J. Trump selected her to serve as his ambassador to the UN. Before leaving that position at the end of 2018, she would hold it for around two years.

Nikki represented the Trump administration's policies at the UN towards Israel, North Korea, Russia, and Syria, according to The NYT.

Nikki has reportedly tried to strike a delicate balance between backing Trump and distancing herself from him sufficiently to win even his more sensible critics, according to CNN. She left the Trump administration in 2018 on terms of moral, unlike other former Trump workers who have publicly fought with their former leader.

Then, in April 2021, Nikki declared that, if Donald Trump were to run for president in 2024, she would not. However, she has since changed her mind.
