In a recent announcement, New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) has revealed about the 10th Annual Women Entrepreneurs Rock (WER) event at Brookdale Community College. The event is going to be held at Whitechapel Projects in Long Branch, NJ on October 21, 2024.

The event promises to be a celebration of leadership, innovation, and transformation. Over the years, thousands of women have taken part in this event and WER 10 will be the next one, setting the bars high. It has built a community for the past decade with its amazing events, offering a platform for females to create connections in the industry while sharing and propelling their entrepreneurial dreams.

The firm was founded by Dr. Jackeline Mejias-Fuertes who’s also the NJSBDC Regional Director at Brookdale. She with her ideas, has created such an event for giving women entrepreneurs a vision to have a space to learn, grow and thrive towards success.

Dr. Jackeline stated, “When we launched the first Women Entrepreneurs Rock event in 2014 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, we aimed to provide a platform where women could come together, hear from inspiring female leaders, and leave with the confidence and tools to start or grow their businesses. A decade later, we still empower women and push the boundaries of what's possible.”
