Nuveen appoints Laura Cooper as Global Investment Strategist

Laura Cooper has been appointed by a management firm that has $1.2 trillion assets ‘Nuveen’. She will be taking up the position of Global Investment Strategist. Founded in 1898, the firm caters in the financial services industry with headquarters in New York, having specialities in Investment Management, Closed-End Funds, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, Municipal Bonds and much more.

After her joining, Laura will be reporting to Nuveen’s Co-Head of Portfolio Management – Fixed Income, Joseph Higgins. In addition, she is also the CEO and Founder of Cooper HR Solutions which she started last year. Prior to founding her own firm, Laura was the Chief People Officer at Halborn for a year, BlockFi and OwnBackup.
