Global Private Capital Association (GPCA), a non-profit, independent membership organization, has introduced the first-ever Southeast Asia Women Investors Directory that focuses on women investors’ increasing visibility in the vicinity. It will foster connection while tracking their growth periodically.
This directory has been developed under the support of an Australian Government initiative ‘Investing in Women’. It aims at featuring 365 female investment professionals who are actively managing private capital within asset classes that includes private equity, venture capital, private credit, infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate.
Amongst all the featured female investment professionals, 132 hold senior positions, having more than half of them based in Singapore. In addition, a total of 72% are engaged in VC, emphasising the gender-focused initiatives’ impact that seeks to enhance female participation in this particular segment.
Moreover, this initiative looks forward at strengthening women’s growing influence in shaping the private capital landscape of Southeast Asia, offering increased recognition and opportunities to these women with an intent towards driving advancements in the industry. GPCA alongside Investing in Women will elevate the profiles of these women, seeking to contribute to a more inclusive as well as dynamic investment ecosystem.
