ODA enacts New Program to support Moldova's Women Entrepreneurs

Moldovan Entrepreneurship Development Organisation (ODA) has enacted a new ‘Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Programme’ On 7 March at Moldova, which has been co-funded by European Union and the Government of Moldova. Individuals as well as companies can also apply for the program.

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Support Programme has been initiated to aid female entrepreneurship with financial and non-financial support for the development purpose. The program seeks to increase the number of women entrepreneurs in addition to improving the economic performance of MSMEs which are led by women.

It shall include aspiring entrepreneurs alongside active entrepreneurs and is looking forward to provide staged support to them. Additionally, Start-ups and growing companies shall get the opportunity to receive non-refundable financial support.

Entrepreneurs shall get support from the program through the access to technical assistance and e-commerce package in addition to training sessions, consulting, coaching or mentoring for all types of entrepreneurs, beginners, growing and developing ones as well.

Moreover, the program shall include conferences, media campaigns, and events etc., in order to promote women entrepreneurship. The Program, having a total 30 million MDL budget, shall continue for 3 long years followed by a monitoring period of 24 months.

This program shall benefit the women entrepreneurs who are looking for support to grow their business and get an exposure of how it happens.
