A femtech company, Femtek has been in the phase of rebranding and is now named as Kyri. The founder of the startup Olivia Orchowski has been inspired and turned into Norse mythology. Founded in 2019, Kyri caters in the Information Technology & Services industry.
The firm has its headquarters in Melbourne and specialises in menstrual health of women. Besides, Olivia is also the CEO of the company. Prior to starting her organisation, she was working for NSW Accelerator 2023 at Techstars in hybrid mode. A notable number of years come from her experience at The Lean Lab where she worked for nearly a decade.
In the process of rebranding, Olivia has come up with a ring that holds the ability to track the resting body temperature that tends to get increased during the ovulation period. She looked forward to having this, with an intent to aid women for keeping a track on the happenings of their body. She kickstarted this with a funding in 2022 in addition to a campaign and pre-Seed round.
Olivia says, “This is not a decision we took lightly. It is a reflection of where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. Kyri, inspired by the strength of Valkyries, is about leading women to greatness through innovative health solutions. This change is integral to our continued growth and long-term goals.”
