Dedicated for businesswomen, Veuve Cliquot’s Bold Woman Awards has been secured by the Pension Insurance Corporation plc (PIC) co-founder Tracy Blackwell. The award has been established in the year 1972 and serves as the longest-running international accolade for women in business as one of its kind.

Founded in 2006, PIC serves in the insurance industry with headquarters in London. It specialises in De-risking, Buyouts, Buy-ins, Longevity risk insurance, pension insurance, ESG etc.

In addition, Tracy is also a member of council at Radley college and Trustee and honourable treasurer at Elton John AIDS Foundation for the last 6 years. She is also board member at Association of British Insurers for nearly 4 years now.

Tracy said, “Despite its fundamental importance to the future welfare of millions of people, not to mention the infrastructure we fund, the pensions industry flies beneath the radar much of the time. So, to be recognised with such a prestigious award will help to raise the profile of this crucial industry.”

Adding to the statement, she stated, “I’m incredibly proud of how much PIC has grown, based on our purpose of paying the pensions of our current and future policyholders. Through our investment in UK infrastructure, we have the potential to change the country over the next decade, also bringing a measure of intergenerational equity as we back the pensions of older people with the infrastructure and housing needed by younger, and future, generations. In achieving this award, I hope I can inspire the next generation of game-changing, bold female entrepreneurs.”
