Progress appoints Amanda Arria as New Chief People Officer

In a recent announcement, Progress (Nasdaq: PRGS) has declared that Amanda Arria has been appointed as its Chief People Officer (CPO). Her appointment got effective from October 28, 2024. Founded in 1981, Progress is the trusted provider of AI-powered infrastructure software that caters in the Software Development industry.

The firm has its headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts and specialises in application development, web development, cloud development, application modernization, digital experience, content management, data connectivity amongst others.

Moreover, Amanda will be taking care of all aspects of global People Team function that happens inside the firm, while reporting to CEO Yogesh Gupta. In addition to this organisation, she is also the Founder of Women in Energy. Prior to these firms, she was the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of EFI for 2 years and Global Vice President, Human Resources at Schneider Electric for 7 long years. In certifications, she has earned Human Resources Management Graduate Certificate from Southern New Hampshire University.
