Ajay Vij has been named the country managing director by Accenture, while Sandeep Dutta will take over as the head of Accenture's India Market Unit as Rekha M. Menon, Senior Managing Director and Chairperson for Accenture in India, departs after 20 years with the firm.

In 2021, Rekha became a member of the select group of seven-time MPW award recipients. Rekha held numerous positions in Accenture's growth regions throughout her time there and actively contributed to the expansion of the company's operations, enhancing its local presence, and fostering partnerships with important constituencies like business, the government, and clients. She contributed to the establishment of a solid foundation for Accenture in India in many areas of our company and leaves behind a remarkable legacy of achievements and influence on our customers, our people, and our communities”, according to Leonardo Framil, Accenture's Chief Executive Officer for Growth Markets.

"I'd also want to extend my congratulations to Ajay and Sandeep on their well-deserved promotions and new duties. I, along with the rest of the Global Management Committee, are looking forward to working closely with them to bring tremendous value for our clients, Indian citizens, and the clients we serve globally”.
