Ruby Sinha, the creator of SheAtWork, named as head of the BRICS CCI women division

Shabana Nasim, who has been named the Executive Director of BRICS CCI and Chief Patron of BRICS CCI WE, is succeeded by Ruby Sinha. She has been named the three-year president of BRICS CCI WE, the body's women's vertical, by the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI).

Ruby, an entrepreneur herself, founded Kommune Brand Communications and SheAtWork, a resource centre for female entrepreneurs. The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry promotes business ventures, trade, and commerce between the BRICS and their allies.

Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar, Director-General-BRICS CCI, stated in a statement announcing the appointment, "We firmly believe that Ruby’s vision, strategic acumen, and dedication will elevate the women's vertical to new heights of success and significantly contribute to the overall objective of the Chamber."

It is a privilege for me to lead the BRICS CCI's women's vertical at this time, she added, when the G20 is focusing on gender-based digital inclusiveness and skilling and PM's idea that this decade would be a Techade.

A parent body called BRICS CCI promotes trade and industry in the BRICS and other friendly countries. The chamber is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was established in 2012. The BRICS CCI is a registered organisation with Niti Aayog and is recognised by the Government of India under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.

The Women Vertical of the BRICS CCI was developed with a primary focus on women's empowerment programmes and laws worldwide. The women's wing's goal is to provide a network of supportive resources for female professionals and entrepreneurs worldwide.
