SAARC Bazaar exhibition Empowers Women Entrepreneurs in Pakistan

A 3-day trade exhibition has been organized by The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) with SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC), in partnership. The exhibition has been named as “SAARC Bazaar”. It will be held between March 7th to 9th at Expo Centre Lahore in Pakistan.

The exhibition targets to reinforce the South Asian entrepreneurs as well as SMEs (small and medium-sized businesses) specifically focusing on empowering Pakistan's cottage industry sector’s women entrepreneurs. The 3-day exhibition requests women, craftsmen, and artists from South Asian countries to exhibit their work and establish cross-border relations with one another for their commercial benefit.

The Women's Business Conference has been lined-up to take place on International Women's Day i.e., March 7th, 2024. The conference holds the theme ‘Invest in South Asian Women: A Path towards Regional Progress’. The event will be held in Pakistan’s Lahore at Pearl Continental Hotel.

The theme of the conference aims to feature apprise conversations, keynote talks and networking opportunities to cultivate good connections and encouraging long-term progress across the vicinity.

After the conference, SCWEC Handover Takeover Ceremony shall take center stage at SAARC Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs Council which will indicate the leadership change.

Hina Mansab Khan shall serve as the chairperson in the event. The selection of Hina as the chairperson showcases the dedication of SCWEC towards promoting women's entrepreneurship in South Asian region. The trade exhibition aims to serve as a key chance for South Asia’s entrepreneurial sector while endorsing teamwork, creativity and monetary/economic growth.
