Scotiabank announces Retirement of Pres & CEO Gillian Riley after 31 Years of Service

In a recent announcement, Scotiabank has declared the Tangerine President and CEO Gillian Riley’s planned retirement, following her 31 years of career with this Bank. Until December 31, 2024, Gillian will continue with the company as Strategic Advisor.

With another announcement, the bank has revealed that Terri-Lee Weeks will be taking up the position of President and CEO, Tangerine which will be effective from November 1, 2024. In addition, Gillian joined Tangerine in the year 2018. She is also the Board chair of Roynat Capital from over 9 years. Moreover, Terri-Lee has been working with Scotiabank since September 2021 in the position of Executive Vice President, Retail Customer.
